Physeter macrocephalus

Immer wieder fragen mich Gäste ob die Verhältnisse auf dem Meer (Wind und Wellengang vor allem) Auswirkungen auf unsere Sichtungen haben. Die Antwort, die ich gebe wird vielleicht von diesen Pottwalbildern von der heutigen Nachmittagstour bei 3 Meter Dünung und vielen Schaumkrönchen beantwortet. Die Bilder der Tümmler sind von der Vormittagstour bei der gleichen Dünung, nur ohne Schaumkronen.

Pessoas perguntam sempre se o estado do mar (vento e ondulação) têm influência sobre os nossos avistamentos. A resposta podia ser dado com as imagens dos cachalotes, que vimos hoje na nossa viagem da tarde com uma vaga de 3 metros e bastantes espumas no mar. As imagens dos roazes foram tiradas hoje na viagem da manha com a mesma ondulação mas sem espumas do vento.
