Balaenoptera physalus

Vormittags auf der Ribeira Brava sahen wir heute 2 Arten von Delfinen: Gemeine Delfine gemischt mit Streifendelfinen, die wir erst ganz am Schluss erkannten. Und vor der Einfahrt in den Hafen gab es dann noch einen wunderschönen fliegenden Fisch. Nachmittags auf der Stenella sahen wir Finnwale (erst fern, dann näher und immer näher), Pilotwale und 2 oder 3 Delfine, die aber schnell verschwunden waren. Auch eine Portugiesische Geleere, aber trotz stillem ruhigen Wasser keine Schildkröte, denen war es wohl zu bedeckt.

In the morning with our vessel Ribeira Brava we saw 2 kinds of dolphins: common dolphins mixed with striped dolphins but we only noticied it in the end. And comming in the harbour we saw a beautiful flying fish. On our afternoon trip with Stenella we saw fin whales, pilot whales and 2 or 3 dolphins that dissapeared quickly. We also saw a portuguese-man-of-war.

Hoje na nossa primeira viagem com o Ribeira Brava vimos duas espécies de golfinhos: comuns misturados com riscados, só nos apercebemos no final. Ao entrar na marina vimos ainda um peixe voador muito bonito. Na nossa viagem da tarde com o Stenella vimos baleias comuns, baleias piloto e 2 ou 3 golfinhos que desapareçeram rapidamente, vimos também uma caravela portuguesa.
