BWB – Scabbardfish Fishing off Madeira’s Coast

Wow, what a ride through the troughs and crests of the waves! It was a long trip, reaching 10 nautical miles (18 km) off Cabo Girão. A few Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) glided swiftly through the waves, gracefully raising their flukes as they sank into the deep blue. On the way back, Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) leaped playfully alongside the Stenella for a brief moment.
