On Madeira island it is very rare to have a completely cloudless day. Today it was one of those days. Our poor spotter had to stand in the sun the whole day and it was a challenge, because he was a bit dizzy and the sea had some foam caps. The Atlantic Spotted dolphins were calmer than usual and only in the late afternoon they got more active. Whilst the Common dolphins we saw early in the morning, showed much of their beautiful bodies.
