Today our guests brought something with them and took something with them home.
In the morning we had Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) resting just outside the harbor. Then we went out to sea. The eyes roamed over the sea and although Drumond, our spotter, had spotted dolphins far out, it still took quite a while to find them in the swell. They were Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis).
It also took a while on the midday tour before we saw one bottlenose dolphin, found by Pedro. But this dolphin was shy and disappeared. After that we also had to wait until we got to the port. At the very last moment there was another sighting, also with Bottlenose dolphins, which were very dynamic and performed jumps.
Today all the guests brought patience with them and took home the experience that you should never give up.
