Claudia’s Eindrücke: Eine besondere Sichtung von Meeressäugern hat uns auf der Mittags-Stenella-tour heute besonders erfreut: RUNDKOPFDELFINE, die wir weit draußen weiß und türkis knapp unter der Wasseroberfläche schimmern sahen. Und auch die GROßEN TÜMMLER waren für kurze Zeit schöne Begleiter des Bootes. Danach ging es dann in Küstennähe. Die letzten Tage und Nächte haben der Insel Madeira viel Regen gebracht, die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist daher sehr hoch. Die Insel hat das Wasser aufgesogen und unsere Ausfahrt ging auf dem Rückweg an schönen Küstenabschnitten entlang, wo wir das Süßwasser ins Salzwasser tropfen sahen. Feucht war und ist es, aber denken wir daran Wasser bedeutet Leben.

Claudia`s impressions: A special sighting of marine mammals has shown up today on our midday Stenella tour: RISSO’S DOLPHINS, which we found far out, shimmering white and turquoise just below the surface of the water. As well the BOTTLENOSE DOLPHINS were a beautiful companion of the boat for a short time. Then we went near the coastline. The last days and nights have brought a lot of rain to Madeira island, the humidity is very high. The island has absorbed the water and on the way back we took the way along the beautiful coastline, where the freshwater drops into the saltwater. It was and is humid, but remember water means life.
