As we prepared to go out, we almost knew what we were going to find…. another day with Short-beaked common dolphins (Delphinus delphis). Today they were in a jumpy frenzy. Food was around and they were very excited. Swimming in circles, jumping and making their food going crazy, a spectacle worth seeing.
In the afternoon they were a bit more relaxed, maybe they had a big lunch and had to rest a bit 😉 We also started seeing the first Cory’s Shearwater (Calonectris borealis) resting at the surface.
