            06.09.2022 – Synonyms for amazing

Published by Fatima Kutzschbach on September 16, 2022

Synonyms for amazing are extraordinary, impressive, special, excellent to name a few. Today was such an amazing day.

In the morning, Ribeira Brava moved on a mirror-smooth sea. The sun and clouds reflected in the sea. A huge pod of the Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) approached us. Our top positions in the bow wave were highly coveted. The wonderful thing about this boat is that on calm days like today, watching the animals makes you feel like you’re swimming with the animals gliding effortlessly through the water. These positions at the top then become top positions in the truest sense of the word. We saw endless jumps and a kindergarten group glided past the boat. What an amazing spectacle. It was just extraordinary and impressive.

We were also lucky on our evening tour with the Stenella. We met Atlantic spotted dolphins again, and they too jumped high, very high or in long jumps next to the boat. Furthermore, we even saw a baleen whale, which we assume is a Tropical whale (Balaenoptera edeni).

And the Shorties, two of our guests finally came back home to Madeira. For those who have been with us about fourteen times, Madeira is a second home.
