            06.06.2025 – Safe to protect

Published by Fatima Kutzschbach on June 13, 2025

We are now seeing them again, the cutest little dolphins there are, because the Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) now have miniature offspring. Of course, the offspring of other marine mammal species are also cute. But today’s dolphin calf was really extremely adorable. In preparation for the upcoming World Oceans Day, we will be informing our guests over the next few days about how they can make a contribution to protecting the oceans during their holiday. And this starts with conscious behaviour on land. 90% of the plastic floating in the sea has found its origin on land. With the growing number of tourists on our small island, the importance of responsible behaviour is of the utmost importance, so our frineds in our blue office stay safe.
