Today we went quickly out to sea. Our spotter found Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) off the harbor and we wanted to make sure our guests were able to experience them before potentially heading towards the fish farm. It also became apparent that the wind and waves would increase. We were lucky and had a nice encounter with these big dolphins. They were relaxed and socializing with each other. Socializing is an important activity for dolphins. In this way they strengthen their bonds; a better connection has a positive effect on togetherness and therefore also on cooperation.
