Today on our tour, I was asked twice about swimming with dolphins. For a snorkeler, it is certainly something special and touching to encounter these animals in their underwater world. But one should always ask oneself whether such an encounter is not too great an intrusion into the dolphin’s habitat. Here, one has to decide what is more important! Your own desire or a more sustainable way of making contact. Some people argue that the animals can leave the area. But this raises the next question. Do we have the right to act in such a way that marine mammals have to change their current behavior in order to protect themselves? What do you think?
