Unser Vormittag begann mit Sichtungen von Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>) und Kurzschnabelige-Gew\u00f6hnliche-Delfinen (<i>Delphinus delphis<\/i>) auf einem relativ ruhigen Atlantik. Am Nachmittag nahm der Wind zu, was es unserem Sp\u00e4her schwer machte, die Tiere wieder zu finden, sodass seine Augen weiter nach Osten wanderten, um sein Gl\u00fcck n\u00e4her an der K\u00fcste zu versuchen. Er sah, wie ein paar R\u00fcckenflossen die Oberfl\u00e4che durchbrachen, und unsere Crew trotzte den windigen Bedingungen zusammen mit einer Gruppe sehr mutiger G\u00e4ste und genoss eine kurze, aber sch\u00f6ne Sichtung mit Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Inmitten der Wellen haben wir sogar eine Portugiesische Galeere (<i>Physalis physalis<\/i>) genauer unter die Lupe genommen, eine Srtaatsqualle, die sich hier auf Madeira dem Ende ihrer Saison n\u00e4hert. Ein Windsto\u00df in die falsche Richtung k\u00f6nnte f\u00fcr diese Nesseltierkolonien das Todesurteil bedeuten, da S\u00fcdwinde sie oft an die Str\u00e4nde entlang der S\u00fcdk\u00fcste ziehen. Die gas\u00e4hnliche Blase verleiht der Kolonie ein plastik\u00e4hnliches Aussehen, was ihr in Australien den Spitznamen <i>Blue Bottles <\/i>einbrachte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">W\u00e4hrend der Wind heute f\u00fcr die Galeeren keine ung\u00fcnstige Richtung hatte, war der Westwind eine unerwartete \u00dcberraschung, und gab uns eine ziemliche holprige Fahrt zur\u00fcck nach Calheta. Einige salzige L\u00e4cheln an Bord waren dennoch das Ergebnis, Mission erf\u00fcllt!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,
