Unser Sp\u00e4her hatte eine kleine Gruppe T\u00fcmmler (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>) entdeckt und unsere Stenella suchte die Gegend ab, um sie zu finden. Diese intelligenten Delfine sind im Allgemeinen in kleineren Gruppen rund um den Archipel anzutreffen und neigen dazu, K\u00fcstengew\u00e4sser zu bevorzugen, wodurch sie besonders in den Sommermonaten einem hohen Ma\u00df an Bootsverkehr ausgesetzt sind. Diese Tatsache zusammen mit ihrer starken Standorttreue gegen\u00fcber Madeiras Gew\u00e4ssern erfordert, dass wir besonders darauf achten, sie w\u00e4hrend einer Sichtung nicht zu st\u00f6ren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Pedro, unser Kapit\u00e4n, man\u00f6vrierte das Boot sanft in Richtung der Gruppe von Delfinen etwa 3 Seemeilen vor der K\u00fcste und wir alle genossen Momente, in denen die Tiere kurz zu zweit tauchten und wieder auftauchten \u2026 und das alles mit einem Regenbogen \u00fcber Paul Do Mar im Hintergrund. Was f\u00fcr eine gro\u00dfartige Kulisse f\u00fcr diese friedliche Sichtung! Unser Schnellboot fuhr dann weiter raus auf See, um eine Gruppe Kurzschnabelige-Gew\u00f6hnliche-Delfine (<i>Delphinus delphis<\/i>) zu finden, die unser Sp\u00e4her zuvor in der Ferne beim Jagen beobachtet hatte. Als wir ankamen, hatten die Delfine aufgeh\u00f6rt zu jagen und verschwanden diskret in der Sonne, sodass sie praktisch unm\u00f6glich zu finden waren. Wir setzten unsere Suche auf unserem Weg zur\u00fcck nach Calheta fort und kamen dort ohne weitere Sichtung, aber mit einem breiten L\u00e4cheln auf unseren Gesichtern an!<\/span><\/p>\n<p
