Die Kurzschnabligen Gemeine Delfine <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>(Delphinus delphis)<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"> waren im Ruhemodus. Auch Delfine m\u00fcssen &#8222;schlafen&#8220;, bzw. Ruhen. Da sie immer sicherstellen m\u00fcssen, dass ihr Blasloch frei ist, wenn sie atmen, damit kein Wasser eintritt, sind alle Meeress\u00e4uger bewusste Atmer. Um trotzdem in einem Zustand der Erholung zu kommen, hat sich die Natur einen cleveren Trick einfallen lassen. W\u00e4hrend eine Seite des Gehirns eine kleine Pause einlegt, ist die andere aktiv. Eine sehr elegante L\u00f6sung, um diese Herausforderung zu meistern. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Die Blainville Schnabelwale <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">(<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>Mesoplodon densirostris<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">)<\/span><\/span><\/span><i> <\/i><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #202122; font-family: Georgia, serif;\"> waren, wie gew\u00f6hnlich ebenfalls tiefenentspannt. Sie sind meistens gem\u00fctlich unterwegs. Im Anschluss beobachtenden\u00a0wir sehr entspannte Kurzflossen Pilotwale <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>(<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>Globicephala macrorhynchus)<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">, die mit Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>(Tursiops truncatus)<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"> unterwegs waren.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Am Nachmittag hatten wir nochmals vier sehr entspannte Blainville Schnabelwale und einen ganz besonderen Gast. Ein Papageitaucher <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #202122;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><i>(Fratercula arctica)<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #202122; font-family: Georgia, serif;\"> erwies uns die Ehre. Die Brutareale umfassen die K\u00fcsten des Nordatlantiks und des westlichen Polarmeers. Bevorzugt werden vor allem Inseln. Au\u00dferhalb der Brutzeit, zwischen September\u00a0bis Ende M\u00e4rz leben Papageitaucher ausschlie\u00dflich\u00a0auf dem offenen Meer. Wenn wir uns diesem kleinen Gesellen ann\u00e4herten, tauchte er ab und wir hielten voller Spannung den Atem an, wo und wann er wieder auftauchen w\u00fcrde. Das beobachtete Maximum der beobachteten Tauchzeit vor den schottischen Isle of May betrug 115 Sekunden. Gef\u00fchlt war es heute ein sehr langer Zeitraum bis dieses kleine, s\u00fc\u00dfe Gesch\u00f6pf wieder auftauchte.
