Ein Tier mit einem Sender zu versehen, ist erstens sehr kostenintensiv und zweitens ein sehr invasives Handeln gegen\u00fcber der Tiere. Wenn Forscher etwas \u00fcber eine spezielle Meeress\u00e4ugerart erfahren wollen, wie zum Beispiel Zugrouten, Tauchtiefe etc. dann wird ein Sender in den Blubber (Fettpolster) oder in die R\u00fcckenfinne geschossen. Diese Sender halten jedoch nicht lange. Wenn wir eine Sichtung haben, dann ist das unserem Sp\u00e4her zu verdanken. Er steht an Land in einer erh\u00f6hten Position und nutzt ein Fernglas, um das Meer zu \u00fcberblicken und Tiere zu finden. Mit voller Konzentration und viel Erfahrung unterst\u00fctzt er uns von Land. Sobald er eine Sichtung hat, leitet er unsere Kapit\u00e4ne in das Areal der Sichtung. Manchmal kann es sein, dass wir, sobald wir dort angekommen sind, selbst das Feintuning tun m\u00fcssen. Das kommt in F\u00e4llen wie heute vor, wenn eine kleine Delfinschule ruhig unterwegs ist und die Lichtverh\u00e4ltnisse es unserem Sp\u00e4her schwer machen, die Tiere im Auge zu behalten. Heute suchten wir nach den Atlantischen Fleckendelfinen <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><i>(Stenella frontalis)<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\">, die sich jedoch nicht zeigten. Wir hatten jedoch Gl\u00fcck und konnten eine Gruppe von Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><i>(Tursiops truncatus)<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"> begleiten.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"de-DE\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Auch am Nachmittag konnten unsere G\u00e4ste Gro\u00dfe T\u00fcmmler beobachten.
