Delfine waren weit weg und unser traditionelles Fischer Boot machte sich auf eine lange Suche in der Hitze und musste schlie\u00dflich die Reise mit einem Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmler (Tursiops truncatus), einer sehr kleinen Unechten Karettschildkr\u00f6te (Caretta caretta) und ein paar fliegenden Fischen beenden. Manchmal geht es wirklich mehr um diese kleinen Extras und um eine sch\u00f6ne Bootsfahrt, als eine Sichtung nach der anderen, auch wenn wir uns das manchmal w\u00fcnschen w\u00fcrden. Unser schnelles Zodiak Boot wurde von\u00a0 Cuvier-Schnabelwalen (Ziphius cavirostris) \u00fcberrascht, der auf dem Weg zu einer Sichtung von Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern auftauchte. Wie so oft sagt der Artname viel \u00fcber die Eigenschaften der Tiere aus. So ist der lateinische Name dieses Wals \u00fcbersetzt hohler Schnabel, der sich auf eine kn\u00f6cherne Struktur vor ihrer Nase bezieht.
