Als Teil der makronesischen Region, die aus drei Archipelen besteht, die einige Gemeinsamkeiten aufweisen. Sie teilen ihren vulkanischen Ursprung, eine sehr vielseitige Landschaft und ein angenehmes Klima. All dies hat sich als ideale Umgebung f\u00fcr eine erstaunliche Biodiversit\u00e4t herausgestellt. Nahrungs- und N\u00e4hrstoffreichtum sowie warme Gew\u00e4sser sind Gr\u00fcnde, warum wir in den Sommermonaten wiederkehrende Besucher haben \u2013 die Fleckendelfine (Stenella frontalis). Als neugierigster und freundlichster Delphin, wenn es um Begegnungen geht, hatten unsere Schnorchler beim morgendlichen Ausflug gro\u00dfe Freude, sie unter Wasser zu beobachten und ihnen zuzuh\u00f6ren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Bei jeder unserer heutigen Tours hatten wir das Gl\u00fccke, unsere Lieblingsspotties zu sehen. Und die G\u00e4ste der morgendlichen Ribeira Brava-Tour hatten sogar eine besondere Sichtung von Blainville-Schnabelwalen (Mesoplodon densirostris). Eine Art, die leicht daran zu erkennen ist, dass bei M\u00e4nnchen ihre Z\u00e4hne \u00fcber ihre Kiefer herausragen, welche das Rostrum \u00fcberdecken. Diese vom Zoologen Henri de Blainville benannte Art wird \u201enur\u201c bis zu ~4,6m lang, ist aber mit ihrem scheuen und zur\u00fcckhaltenden Verhalten definitiv nicht mit Delfinen zu
