Wir hatten heute Vormittag eine nette Schnorchlergruppe mit einer kleinen Gruppe\u00a0 <\/span>von Kurzschnabelige-Gew\u00f6hnliche-Delfine (Delphinus delphis<\/i>) im Wasser, die kurz zu unseren Teilnehmern im Wasser schwammen, bevor sie weiter in den Gew\u00e4ssern bei Madalena do Mar nach Nahrung suchten. Im Gegensatz zu unsere Sommerdelfine, die Atlantische Fleckendelfine (Stenella frontalis<\/i>) und die nahe verwandten Streifendelfine (Stenella coeruleoalba<\/i>), die in Gebieten mit tieferem Wasser rund um Madeira vorkommen, bleiben die Gew\u00f6hnlichen Delfine zumindest in den Sommermonaten n\u00e4her an der K\u00fcste . Das tr\u00fcbere Wasser machte es unseren Schnorchlern nicht leicht, alle Tiere unter Wasser zu sehen, aber die wenigen Einblicke haben alle schon sehr gl\u00fccklich gemacht. Weiter drau\u00dfen entdeckte unser Sp\u00e4her eine Gruppe Streifendelfine, die bei unserer Ankunft davonrasten. Die kurze Zeit, die wir mit ihnen hatten, erm\u00f6glichte es uns dennoch, das charakteristische Streifenmuster zu bewundern, das die Flanken der Delfine schm\u00fcckte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der Wind weiter drau\u00dfen auf See lie\u00df unser Team am Nachmittag eine schwierige Tour erwarten, aber die scharfen Augen unseres Sp\u00e4hers entdeckten schnell eine Gruppe von Kurzflossen-Grindwalen (Globicephala macrorhynchus<\/i>), die gegen den Wind d\u00fcsten. Unsere beiden Boote rasten zur Stelle, aber nur unsere Stenella schaffte es, die Tiere zu erreichen, bevor sie in den aufgew\u00fchlten Gew\u00e4ssern verschwanden. Aber auch unsere Ribeira Brava hatte gro\u00dfes Gl\u00fcck, nachdem unser Sp\u00e4her eine Gruppe Fleckendelfine entdeckt hatte, die fr\u00f6hlich neben unserem Boot herschwammen. Unser Schnellboot traf kurz darauf auch im Sichtungsgebiet ein und die G\u00e4ste an Bord beider Boote genossen eine sch\u00f6ne Sichtung mit der Gruppe. Es war so ein toller Tag!<\/span><\/p>\n
