Diese friedlichen und doch kraftvollen Delfine k\u00f6nnen hier auf Madeira das ganze Jahr \u00fcber bewundert werden, aber ihre Anwesenheit in dieser ersten, eher unruhigen Novemberwoche hat sowohl unserem Team als auch unseren G\u00e4sten sehr gl\u00fccklich gemacht!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Sowohl vormittags als auch nachmittags wurde eine Gruppe Pilotwale in der N\u00e4he einer Kinderstubengruppe von Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>) beobachtet. Begegnungen wo beide Arten zusammen gesehen werden, sind keine Seltenheit hier auf Madeira und da die meisten dieser Begegnungen im \u201ePilotwal\u201c-Gebiet weiter weg von der K\u00fcste stattfinden, werden sie vermutlich von den Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern initiiert. Die Gr\u00fcnde, warum die Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmler die Gesellschaft ihrer st\u00e4mmigen Cousins \u200b\u200bsuchen, sind unbekannt und beinhalten Theorien wie Jagdvorteile (f\u00fcr Kalamaren), Schutz oder Neugier. Ein weiterer Grund kann sein, dass die Delfine einfach wissen, dass sie sich diesen sanften Walen, ohne Aggressionen zu bef\u00fcrchten, n\u00e4hern k\u00f6nnen. Was auch immer der Grund war, die Begegnungen waren so bewegend, dass ein paar unserer seekranke G\u00e4ste zumindest eine Zeit lang von den unruhigen Bedingungen am Meer abgelenkt waren, half, und sich mehr auf dieses absolut friedliche Zusammenleben zweier sehr unterschiedlicher Tiere konzentrierten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Unser Team wies auch auf mehrere junge Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher (<i>Calonectris borealis<\/i>) hin, die in bestimmten Gebieten kreisen. Viele der V\u00f6gel haben m\u00f6glicherweise gerade das Nest verlassen und versammeln sich mit Artgenossen, um mehr Sicherheit und Jagdvorteile zu gew\u00e4hrleisten. Wir freuen uns, dass es so vielen von ihnen gelungen ist, die gef\u00e4hrliche erste Reise aus dem Elternnest sicher aufs Meer zu schaffen!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align:
