Bei einer solchen Vielfalt von Walen, die die Gew\u00e4sser unserer Inseln besuchen, und mit Ozeanen, die sich st\u00e4ndig \u00e4ndern, ist es ziemlich schwierig, hier eine feste Antwort zu geben. Ernsthafte Annahmen \u00fcber eine Beziehung der Walarten zu einem Lebensraum k\u00f6nnen nur durch langfristige Forschungen zu den in der Region vorkommenden Populationen getroffen werden, weshalb unser Team der wissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaft hier auf Madeira weiterhin Daten aus unseren Touren zur Verf\u00fcgung stellt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Im Sommer haben wir zahlreiche Gruppen von Atlantische Fleckendelfine (<i>Stenella frontalis<\/i>) und sie sind fast auf jeder unserer Touren zu sehen. Es ist fast unm\u00f6glich zu leugnen, dass die Art hier auf Madeira die hei\u00dfen Sommermonate dem k\u00e4lteren und st\u00fcrmischen Winter vorzieht und Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, dass sie sich im Allgemeinen gerne in gem\u00e4\u00dfigten und tropischen Gew\u00e4ssern aufhalten. Derzeit glauben Wissenschaftler, dass das Vorkommen diesesr warmwasserliebende Delfine auf Madeira weitgehend saisonabh\u00e4ngig ist und mit der Temperatur des Wassers und der Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von Beute zusammenh\u00e4ngt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Die Erforschung der Verwandtschaft h\u00e4ufiger gesichteter Arten auf Madeira, wie des Kurzflossen-Grindwals (<i>Globicephala macrorhynchus<\/i>) oder des Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlers (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>) ist viel weiter fortgeschritten und gibt Aufschluss \u00fcber die Dynamik der Gemeinschaften rund um die Insel. Auf unserer windigen Nachmittagstour suchte unser Team weit und breit nach letzterem, da Gro\u00dfe T\u00fcmmler oft entlang der K\u00fcste in Richtung Osten ziehen und daher oft in ruhigeren Gew\u00e4sser anzutreffen sind. Leider haben wir am Ende keine Tiere gefunden. All die Forschungen \u00fcber die H\u00e4ufigkeit von Walen k\u00f6nnen uns letztendlich nicht erlauben, Tage ohne Sichtungen mit Sicherheit zu verhindern. Letztlich h\u00e4ngt unsere Arbeit von einer gro\u00dfen Portion Wissen\u2026 und einer gesunden Portion Gl\u00fcck ab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span class=\"s1\"
