Die flinken Streifendelfine haben sich kontaktfreudig gezeigt und wir konnten ihre Sch\u00f6nheit vor dem Bug des Bootes bewundern. Streifendelfine (<i>Stenella coeruleoalba<\/i>)<i><\/i>zeigen sich sonst, den Booten gegen\u00fcber recht zur\u00fcckhaltend, doch heute wurde uns ein naher Moment geschenkt. Ihren Namen verdanken sie der Tatsache, dass zwei schwarze Streifen vom Auge zur Vorderflosse verlaufen. Das untere Band verbreitert sich in Richtung Flipper. Ein dritter Streifen zieht sich vom Auge entlang der Flanke bis zu Schwanzansatz. Auf den Fotos k\u00f6nnen Sie das heute sch\u00f6n sehen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">In der Gruppe gab es reichlich Nachwuchs und die Tiere zeigten sich untereinander sehr interaktiv. Kleinen Delfink\u00e4lber m\u00fcssen schnell lernen sich, dem Verhalten der Gruppe anzupassen, denn dies kann in gef\u00e4hrlichen Situationen \u00fcberlebenswichtig sein. Die K\u00e4lbchen h\u00fcpften mit den erwachsenen Tieren im Gleichtakt und es sah recht vergn\u00fcgt aus. Die kleine Delfinchen dieser Spezies werden \u00fcbrigens 1,5-2 Jahre lang mit der fettreichen Muttermilch (40-60% Fett) gestillt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Geduldig warteten wir auf das Auftauchen der Schnabelwale, doch leider zeigten sie sich uns heute nicht. Vermutlich handelte es sich um Blainville Schnabelwale <i>(Mesoplodon densirostris)<\/i><i>, <\/i>doch eine eindeutige Identifizierung war aufgrund der Distanz nicht m\u00f6glich.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
