Generell, arbeiten drei Personen an einer Tour; der Sp\u00e4her, der Skipper und der verantwortlicher Guide. Unser Sp\u00e4her, oder <em>Vigia<\/em>, f\u00fchrt uns nicht nur zu den Tieren sondern, hilft den Skipper sein Man\u00f6ver so strategisch und vorsichtig wie m\u00f6glich durchzuf\u00fchren. W\u00e4hrend einer Sichtung arbeiten Guide und Skipper gemeinsam, dass unsere G\u00e4ste sich an Bord wohlf\u00fchlen und die Tiere gut beobachten k\u00f6nnen. \u00d6fters verschwinden die Tiere pl\u00f6tzlich und hier helfen motivierte G\u00e4ste manchmal mit um sie wieder aufzusp\u00fcren. Dies kam heute Nachmittag w\u00e4hrend einer Pottwal (<em>Physeter macrocephalus<\/em>) Sichtung vor, und wir waren erfolgreich trotz den welligen und windigen Bedinungen am Meer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gruppenarbeit ist auch f\u00fcr Meeress\u00e4uger sehr wichtig. Die Tiere arbeiten gemeinsam um Beute zu jagen oder ihre Jungen aufzuziehen, und pflegen somit lebenswichtige soziale Kontake innerhalb der Gruppe. Delfine benutzen Gruppenstrategien um beispielsweise Fischschw\u00e4rme aufzusp\u00fcren, einzusch\u00fcchtern und letzendlich zu trennen. Diese Gruppendynamik durten wir heute Fr\u00fch und heute Nachmittag bei Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern (<em>Tursiops truncatus<\/em>) und Kurzschnabel Gew\u00f6hnliche Delfine (<em>Delphinus delphis<\/em>) beobachten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Regel dass die St\u00e4rke einer Gruppe in den Zusammenhalt seiner Mitglieder liegt, streckt sich daher \u00fcber einige
