Um etwas ein f\u00fcr alle Mal klarzustellen: das Wort \u201cWal\u201d ist der Umgangsname f\u00fcr den lateinischen Namen\u00a0<em>Cetacea<\/em>, welcher eine Familie beschreibt, die sowohl Bartenwale (<em>Mysteceti<\/em>) sowie auch Zahnwale (<em>Odontoceti<\/em>) inkludiert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Obwohl unsere Dienstleistungen als Whale-Watching Firma prim\u00e4r als Freizeitaktivit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Besucher dienen soll, stellen unsere Daten auch eine Unterst\u00fctzung zur Forschung der Tiere da. Die Familie inkludiert alle Delfinarten, Schnabelwale und den riesigen Pottwal. Immer wieder, vor allem w\u00e4hrend des Sommers, haben wir auch Sichtungen von Bartenwale der Familie <em>Balaenopteridae<\/em>, auch Rorquale oder Furchenwale gennant. Diese Gruppe enth\u00e4lt Arten wie den Blauwal, den Finnwal, den Buckelwal sowie den des \u00f6ftern gesichteten Seiwal und den tropischer Brydewal. Alle erw\u00e4hnten Arten wurden hier auf Madeira gesichtet, vor allem die letzten zwei kommen entweder einzeln, zu zweit oder in kleine Aggregationen vor. Bartenwale benutzen ihre Barten, eine kammartige Struktur am Oberkieferrand, um ihre Beute aus der Wassers\u00e4ule zu filtrieren. Au\u00dferdem kommunizieren sie mit anderen Artgenossen nicht durch Bioakustik, sondern durch die Resonanz ihrer Stimmb\u00e4nder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es ist klar: jeder m\u00f6chte einen Wal sehen.
