Dieser Vogel geh\u00f6rte zur Familie der <em>Ardeidae<\/em>. Verschiedene Arten sind hier auf dem Archipel Madeira vertreten, aber in den letzten Jahren scheinen gr\u00f6\u00dfere Schw\u00e4rme sich um die Fischfarmen aufzuhalten. Wenn es in der Natur darum geht Futter zu finden oder zu jagen, scheint die \u201eGleichung\u201c ein vorherbestimmtes Resultat zu bekommen. Gr\u00f6\u00dft m\u00f6glicher Vorteil bei kleinst m\u00f6glicher Anstrengung. Das will sagen mit dem geringsten Energieverbrauch das beste Ergebnis in Bezug auf Energie-ertr\u00e4ge (Futterbeschaffung) zu erreichen.
