Sie zogen westw\u00e4rts und lie\u00dfen sich geduldig aus der N\u00e4he betrachten. Pilot- oder auch Grindwale genannt leben in Gruppen mit starken sozialen Verbindungen, angef\u00fchrt von einem weiblichen Leittier. Wenn beispielsweise ein Muttertier abtaucht um zu jagen, passen andere weibliche Tiere auf das Kalb auf und bleiben mit ihm an der Oberfl\u00e4che (Babysitting). An ihren runden K\u00f6pfen, den nach hinten gebogenen R\u00fcckenfinnen und einer dunklen K\u00f6rperfarbe ist die Art gut zu erkennen.\u00a0Auf der Nachmittagstour blieben wir, trotz intensiver Suche, leider ohne Sichtung. An dieser Stelle ein gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n an die G\u00e4ste der Ribeira Brava, die dennoch ihren Humor behielten und das Ausbleiben einer Sichtung mit Fassung trugen.<\/p>\n<p
