Eine davon sind Fisch-Aggregationsger\u00e4te (Fish Aggregation Devices &#8211; FADs). Die Ozeane sind voll damit. FADs sehen in der Regel wie Holzfl\u00f6\u00dfe aus. Unter den FADs werden gro\u00dfe Netze (oft zusammengerollt) mit vielen bunten Plastikteilen befestigt. Diese FADs sind schwimmende Fischmagnete. FADs ziehen Fische an, da diese auf der Suche nach einer Zuflucht auf offener See sind, wo es nur Wasser gibt. Es beginnt mit kleinen Fischen, aber bald kommen gr\u00f6\u00dfere Fische, die die kleinen Fische fressen. Ganze \u00d6kosysteme bilden sich unter diesen FADs, einschlie\u00dflich vieler verschiedener Fische, Haie und Schildkr\u00f6ten. Fischereiflotten interessieren sich f\u00fcr Thunfische, die sich um diese FADs ansammeln. Die FADs sind mit einer GPS-Leuchte ausgestattet, so dass die Schiffe die FADs nach einigen Monaten einfach wieder finden k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Ich war auf einer Expedition, um das Leben um die FADs herum auf dem Indischen Ozean zu dokumentieren und konnte aus erster Hand das bl\u00fchende Leben um diese von Menschenhand gemachte Fl\u00f6\u00dfe sehen. Ich war oft im Wasser und bin mit viele Fische, Gelbflossenthunfisch, Suppenschildkr\u00f6te, Unechte Karettschildkr\u00f6te, Seidenhaie und Wei\u00dfspitzen-Hochseehaie geschwommen. Die sch\u00f6nen Lebensformen rundum der FADs sind atemberaubend. Es war schmerzlich zu wissen, dass gro\u00dfe Fischerboote bald kommen w\u00fcrden, um all dieses Leben auf einmal zu nehmen und all diese Sch\u00f6nheit verschwunden sein w\u00fcrde. Die gefangenen Thunfische werden kommerziell verkauft, aber alle andere Fische, Haie und Schildkr\u00f6ten sind Beif\u00e4nge und werden oft tot ins Meer tot zur\u00fcck geworfen. Nicht nur das, FADs tragen auch stark zur \u00dcberfischung der Fangbest\u00e4nde bei, die h\u00e4ufig bereits schon stark \u00fcberfischt sind, wie Thunfische. Und unsere modernen europ\u00e4ischen Fischereiflotten fischen die Fische vor der K\u00fcste Afrikas weg und lasen wenig f\u00fcr die lokale Bev\u00f6lkerung zur\u00fcck, die oft extrem arm ist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Diese selbsts\u00fcchtigen Praktiken der europ\u00e4ischen Gesellschaft m\u00fcssen sich \u00e4ndern.
