Ein Mal pro Jahr findet eine Konferenz in einem europ\u00e4ischen Land statt, in diesem Jahr zu unserer gro\u00dfen Freude in Madeira. Seit heute treffen sich internationale Meeress\u00e4uger-Experten, Doktoranden, Studenten und andere Teilnehmer neueste Forschungsprojekte und Ergebnisse vorzustellen und diskutieren gemeinsam Fragen zum Thema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">F\u00fcr uns ist die Konferenz nat\u00fcrlich eine wichtige Veranstaltung und gro\u00dfe Bereicherung, wo wir viel lernen, Kontakte zu anderen Unternehmen und zu Forschern kn\u00fcpfen k\u00f6nnen. Gleich heute, am ersten Tag nahmen drei Lobosonda-Kollegen an verschiedenen Workshops teil, ebenso geht es morgen weiter. Von Montag bis Donnerstag gibt es dann zahlreiche Vorlesungen und Diskussionsrunden, eine Videonacht und vieles mehr. Die Wissenschaftler pr\u00e4sentieren ihre Arbeiten auch in Form von Postern. Lobosonda ist mit einem Info-Tisch vertreten, wo wir unsere Sichtungsdaten (Poster) pr\u00e4sentieren und wo sich Interessierte, unter anderem Unterwasseraufnahmen anschauen, sowie den Laut\u00e4u\u00dferungen der verschiedenen Meeress\u00e4ugerarten lauschen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Von Anfang an hat Lobosonda Wert darauf gelegt, die Sichtungen zu dokumentieren und in Form von Statistiken auszuwerten. Diese wertvollen Daten teilen wir mit Wissenschaftlern. Wir halten es f\u00fcr dringend notwendig, so viel wie m\u00f6glich \u00fcber die Tiere zu lernen und zu verstehen, auch um so Erkenntnisse \u00fcber die Biologie und das Verhalten der Meeress\u00e4uger, insbesondere der Arten um Madeira zu gewinnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das Programm der Konferenz ist dicht getaktet und voll gepackt mit vielen h\u00f6chst interessanten Themen.
