W\u00e4hrend dieser k\u00e4lteren Jahreszeit kommen Kurzschnabelige Gew\u00f6hnliche Delfine (<em>Delphinus delphis<\/em>) in die Gew\u00e4sser der Region, um Halbschn\u00e4bler (<em>Hemiramphidae<\/em>) zu jagen \u2013 planktonfressende Fische, die sich knapp unter der Wasseroberfl\u00e4che aufhalten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"412\" data-end=\"926\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Um diese wendigen Fische zu fangen, f\u00fchren die Delfine hoch koordinierte Angriffe in kleineren Jagdgruppen durch. Nachdem sie die Fische mit Hilfe ihres Sonars zusammentreiben und in kleinere Schw\u00e4rme b\u00fcndeln, schie\u00dfen die Delfine in schnellen Abfolgen durch den Fischschwarm, springen dabei oft aus dem Wasser und rei\u00dfen ihre Beute mit sich. Es ist ein beeindruckendes Zeugnis sowohl der Intelligenz als auch der Wendigkeit dieser wundersch\u00f6nen Delfine \u2013 und es macht unglaublich viel Spa\u00df, ihnen dabei zuzusehen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"1425\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Die Sichtungen der Gew\u00f6hnlichen Delfine vor der K\u00fcste wurden zudem von Beobachtungen Gro\u00dfer T\u00fcmmler (<em>Tursiops truncatus<\/em>) begleitet, einer Art, die eher die k\u00fcstennahen Gew\u00e4sser der Region bevorzugt. Auch diese Begegnungen waren ein gro\u00dfes Vergn\u00fcgen, denn viele der Delfine hoben neugierig den Kopf aus dem Wasser, um ihren Bewunderern einen frechen Blick zuzuwerfen. Wir sagen hier gerne, dass die Beobachtungen bei den Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern eine Einbahnstra\u00dfe in beide Richtungen sind.
