Sie erm\u00f6glichen es den Tieren herauszufinden, wo sie Schutz, Vorteile bei der Nahrungssuche oder vielleicht einfach nur eine Gelegenheit zur sozialen Abwechslung finden k\u00f6nnen. Diese Begegnungen bieten den intelligenten Meeress\u00e4ugern zahlreiche Chancen \u2013 doch nur wenige beherrschen sie so gut wie der Gro\u00dfe T\u00fcmmler (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Diese sozialen S\u00e4ugetiere passen ihr Verhalten h\u00e4ufig an andere Cetaceen an, indem sie deren Laut\u00e4u\u00dferungen und Bewegungen nachahmen. Heute Morgen beobachteten wir sie in der N\u00e4he einer Familie Kurzflossen-Grindwale (<i>Globicephala macrorhynchus<\/i>) \u2013 einer friedlichen Art, die sich ihren Lebensraum mit der ans\u00e4ssigen T\u00fcmmler-Population Madeiras teilt. Oft imitieren die T\u00fcmmler sogar das Schwimmverhalten der Grindwale, sodass man sich gut vorstellen kann, wie es unter Wasser zugeht. Normalerweise halten sich Gro\u00dfe T\u00fcmmler an die Regel \u201eEin Meeress\u00e4uger zurzeit\u201c und konzentrieren sich ganz auf die Interaktion mit ihren Artgenossen \u2013 uns schenken sie dabei meist wenig Beachtung. Heute jedoch kamen einige neugierig an unser Boot heran und verbrachten ruhig einige Momente am Bug.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Am Nachmittag konnten meine Kolleg:innen diese Arten bei allen Ausfahrten beobachten \u2013 ein Beweis daf\u00fcr, dass solche Begegnungen nicht nur einmalig sein
