Was wir sahen, war ein Paarungsritual, bei dem viele Delfine, h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich M\u00e4nnchen, ein oder zwei Delfine, wahrscheinlich Weibchen, verfolgten. Fleckendelfine sind beim Paaren nicht besonders z\u00e4rtlich. Sie jagen sich gegenseitig und paaren sich inmitten der Gruppe. Der Zweck des Verfolgungsrituals ist h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich ein Kraft- und Beweglichkeitstest, bei dem die Weibchen den m\u00f6glichen Paarungspartner testen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Neben diesen Delfinen sahen wir auch zwei andere Arten. Zum einen den \u00e4hnlichen Streifendelfin (<i>Stenella coeruleoalba<\/i>) und zum anderen den gr\u00f6\u00dferen Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmler (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>). Dies ist nur eine kleine Auswahl der Artenvielfalt der Delfine, denen wir rund um Madeira begegnen k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,
