Der Tag begann langsam mit einigen Atlantischen Fleckendelfinen (<i>Stenella frontalis<\/i>) weit vor der K\u00fcste. Sie folgten unseren Schiffen eine Weile, bevor sie weiter hinaus in die Weiten des Atlantiks zogen. Diese Art wird h\u00e4ufig in den Gew\u00e4ssern um Madeira gesichtet, wo sie Fische jagen, vor allem Fliegende Fische (<i>Cheilopogon melanurus<\/i>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Der zweite Ausflug begann \u00e4hnlich. Wir mussten weit hinausfahren, um wieder einige Atlantische Fleckendelfine zu sehen. Es ist immer wieder sch\u00f6n zu sehen, wie sie um unsere Schiffe herum spielen und Spa\u00df haben. Aber die zweite Fahrt war noch nicht zu Ende, als unser Sp\u00e4her Silviano uns informierte, dass es in der N\u00e4he einige Rundkopfelfine (<i>Grampus griseus<\/i>) gab. Wir fuhren weiter hinaus, um sie zu sehen, und wurden mit einer wundersch\u00f6nen Sichtung dieser normalerweise so scheuen Tiere gesegnet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Auf der letzten Fahrt gab es ein weiteres besonderes Tier, zumindest f\u00fcr die Sommermonate. Ich spreche vom Kurzschnauzen-Gemeinen Delphin (<i>Delphinus delphis<\/i>). In den Wintermonaten ist er ein h\u00e4ufiges Tier, aber im Hochsommer eine seltene Erscheinung.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia,
