F\u00fcr Wissenschaftler kann es von unsch\u00e4tzbarem Wert sein, einen eindeutigen Beweis daf\u00fcr zu haben, dass ein bestimmtes Individuum zu einer bestimmten Zeit oder an einen bestimmten Ort zur\u00fcckgekehrt ist. Dies kann uns mehr \u00fcber die Wanderungen der Tiere, ihre Nahrungs- und Bruthabitate und deren Ver\u00e4nderung verraten. In letzter Zeit (der heutige Tag bildet da keine Ausnahme) haben wir viele Pottwale (<em>Physeter macrocephalus<\/em>) gesehen, und das bedeutet, dass wir nach unseren Touren viel Zeit damit verbracht haben, unsere Fotos liebevoll anzustarren. Bei diesem Anstarren hat das akademische Auge von Sara etwas herausgepickt. Wir haben dieselbe Gruppe gesehen. Seit einer Woche scheint eine gro\u00dfe Gruppe von weiblichen Pottwalen ihre Runden um die Insel zu drehen. Handelt es sich dabei um eine Bindungs\u00fcbung oder einen sozialen Trend? Stimmen die F\u00fctterungsbedingungen? Haben sie einfach einen Riesenkalmar zu viel gegessen und versuchen, die Kalorien zu verbrennen? Die Wahrheit ist, wir wissen es nicht, aber wir k\u00f6nnen mit Sicherheit sagen: &#8230;.
