Erstens entdeckten wir inmitten der sch\u00f6nen und auff\u00e4lligen Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmler (<em>Tursiops truncatus<\/em>) und Atlantischen Fleckendelfine (<em>Stenella frontalis<\/em>) einen Rotschnabel-Tropikvogel (<em>Phaethon aethereus<\/em>). Dies ist ein pr\u00e4chtiger und seltener Besucher, der sich wie unsere Delfine von Fischen und Tintenfischen ern\u00e4hrt, und wie viele Arten (Rauhzahndelfine (<em>Steno bredanesis<\/em>) und Brydes-wale (<em>Balenoptera edeni<\/em>) driften sie langsam aus w\u00e4rmeren Klimazonen nach Madeira. Im Gegensatz zu diesen Arten sind diese V\u00f6gel jedoch schlechte Schwimmer und jagen in der Regel allein, so dass das einzelne Individuum heute ein sch\u00f6ner Anblick war, der mit den springenden Delfinen um ihn herum leicht konkurrierte.*<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Vielleicht war unser Tropikvogel nur ein Vorbote des zweiten wichtigen Ereignisses des Tages. Die R\u00fcckkehr einiger anderer Besucher, n\u00e4mlich der erfahrenen Walbeobachtungsaugen unserer guten Freunde und Stammg\u00e4ste, die \u201eShorties\u201c. Wir w\u00fcnschen ihnen gute Sichtungen f\u00fcr die gesamte Dauer ihres Aufenthalts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia,
