Entlang der K\u00fcste Madeiras gibt es Pl\u00e4tze, die sich aufgrund der Lage sehr gut eignen, ein gro\u00dfes Meeresareal zu \u00fcberblicken. Gibt es in dem von ihnen \u00fcberschaubaren Gebiet keine Meeress\u00e4uger wechseln sie je nach Wind- und Wetterlage in Richtung Osten oder Westen. Ganz alleine sind sie jedoch nicht, zumindest vom Fr\u00fchjahr bis in den Herbst hinein. Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><i>(<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><i>Calonectris borealis<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><i>)<\/i><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\">sind auf auf der Suche nach fischiger Beute auf dem Meer unterwegs. Die h\u00fcbschen V\u00f6gel mit den Knopfaugen, dem wei\u00dfen Bauch und dem braunen Gefieder sind geschickte Fischer. Aber wer l\u00e4sst sich nicht gerne helfen? Sobald Delfine Fisch jagen und diesen an die Meeresoberfl\u00e4che treiben, nutzen die Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher ihre Chance auf eine leichte Beute und tauchen inmitten des Get\u00fcmmels ins Meer hinein, um sich leckere Happen zu ergattern. Diese Aktivit\u00e4t sieht wiederum unser Sp\u00e4her von Land. Sind Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher \u00e4u\u00dferst aktiv in der Luft unterwegs, lohnt es sich, das Geschehen darunter genau ins Visier zu nehmen, um zu checken, ob sich dort Delfine aufhalten.
