Unsere Vormittagstour begann mit einer verzweifelten Suche nach Atlantischen Fleckendelfinen (<i>Stenella frontalis<\/i>) f\u00fcr unsere Schnorcheltour und endete mit einer gro\u00dfartigen Sichtung von Kurzflossen-Grindwalen (<i>Globicephala macrorhynchus<\/i>) und Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>). Obwohl man mit diesen Delfinen nicht schnorcheln kann, sind sie zwei der wichtigsten Meeresraubtiere in den Gew\u00e4ssern unseres Archipels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Der Tag ging weiter mit einer weiteren Sichtung von Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmlern (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>) und Rauzahndelfinen (<i>Steno bredanensis<\/i>), einer Art, die dem Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmler aus der Ferne sehr \u00e4hnlich sieht. Aus der N\u00e4he sind die beiden Arten jedoch sehr unterschiedlich. Das reptilienartige Aussehen der Rauhzahndelfine und ihr neugieriges Verhalten gegen\u00fcber Booten unterscheidet sie deutlich von ihren Delphinverwandten. Am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag wurden beide Arten in der N\u00e4he einer Handvoll Blainville-Schnabelwale (<i>Mesoplodon densirostris<\/i>) gesichtet, die sich alle zerstreuten, als unser traditionelles Boot eintraf, so dass die G\u00e4ste an Bord unseres charmanten Fischereifahrzeugs nur noch die gro\u00dfe Gruppe der Gro\u00dfen T\u00fcmmler zu sehen bekamen. Die Besatzung der Ribeira Brava stie\u00df dann zuf\u00e4llig auf eine Gruppe von Fleckendelfinen, die am Ende des Tages in den s\u00fcdwestlichen Gew\u00e4ssern ankamen!<span
