Zwei der sch\u00f6nsten Wale sind zweifellos die Kurzschnabeligen-Gew\u00f6hnliche-Delfine (<i>Delphinus delphis<\/i>) und die Streifendelphine (<i>Stenella coeruleoalba<\/i>). Ironischerweise ist es gar nicht so selten, dass man beide Arten zusammen antrifft, und wir hatten heute Vormittag das Vergn\u00fcgen, Zeuge einer solchen Situation zu werden. Die Schoten zogen durch die hohe D\u00fcnung in Richtung Osten und zeigten gelegentlich dabei ihren pr\u00e4chtigen Flankenmustern.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">Gew\u00f6hnliche Delfine schm\u00fcckten am Nachmittag ebenfalls die s\u00fcdwestlichen Gew\u00e4sser und wurden von unseren beiden Booten angetroffen, und unserem Schnellboot gelang sogar eine zus\u00e4tzliche Sichtung eines kleinen Zwergwals (<i>Balaenoptera acutorostrata<\/i>). Diese kleine, aber wundersch\u00f6ne Bartenwalart kommt nur selten in die Gew\u00e4sser der Insel und die meisten Begegnungen sind mit ausweichenden Tieren, die von ihrer Reise m\u00fcde oder sogar verletzt scheinen (siehe Blog vom Vortag).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Georgia, Palatino;\">W\u00e4hrend die Sch\u00f6nheit der genannten Arten auf ihr Aussehen zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren ist, bieten Gro\u00dfe T\u00fcmmler (<i>Tursiops truncatus<\/i>) trotz ihrer eint\u00f6nigen grauen F\u00e4rbung \u00e4u\u00dferst farbenfrohe Sichtungen. Bei unserer Sichtung an diesem Vormittag haben die Tiere sozialisiert, gejagt und sind neben unserem Boot hergesprungen. Jede Erfahrung mit diesen Delfinen unterstreicht ihre Intelligenz und Komplexit\u00e4t, und darin liegt ebenso viel Sch\u00f6nheit!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span
