Carlos Drumond

Carlos has been working as a Spotter for Lobosonda since February 2010. Since his early days he has always been connected to ocean sports, sailing, fishing and diving. Activities which indirectly gave him some special skills to better fulfill his job.

Because he believed this company would offer him the best working conditions, as well as the possibility to follow his passion for the sea and its animals, he chose to work for Lobosonda.

Carlos loves to be able to observe whales and dolphins in their natural habitat every day. He enjoys it very much that his working days are always unique and different. For him this is a challenge all year round and he considers it a lot of fun. He likes to have the responsibility to help the team to reach their goals and to create unique moments for our guests. And he is very good at it.

Carlos favorite cetacean is the Risso´s dolphin. He admires their very peculiar characteristics, their elegance and their friendly and calmly looks. He finds it fascinating that the coloration goes from grey and white to a total white as they age. Carlos likes their calm and shy temper. As a spotter this type of dolphins are the hardest to locate and the biggest working challenge, a reason why it is always a fantastic day, when it is possible to find and observe them. Carlos really enjoys challenge!
