The day ended the same way as it started.
On our morning tour, the glitter of the morning sun lay on the ocean, while we had a group of reserved Common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) we also had a large school of interactive Atlantic Spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis). We felt part of this school of these beautiful little Spotted dolphins, they were everywhere and very close.
On our evening tour, the sparkle was again on the sea. A school of Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) was more reluctant towards us. No wonder because these animals had quite some boat contact before. Therefore, we also held back, we tried only a few small approaches. A mother came with her calf for a moment close to the boat. But we decided to leave these animals to allow them to rest. Afterwards there were also the lively Atlantic Spotted dolphins for our evening guests.
To our surprise, when we were just leaving, a calm-relaxed Pilot whale group (Globicephala macrorhynchus) appeared. A mother had a cute little calf at her side. Everyone was silent for a moment and enjoyed these beautiful animals. And as we drove to the harbor, these animals moved towards the sunset.
