When our guests ask us in the beginning of a sighting how many animals are around, we are not always able to answer this right away since not all animals are always coming together towards the boat. And today was such a case. First we had three Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) enjoying their ride in the bow but a little while later we had 5 then 7, after 15 and at the end there were around 20-25 animals. Sometimes a pod of dolphins split for a while, subgroups are searching for food or if they discover our boat and the rest of the dolphins school join them. Today for sure we had an excellent encounter with these strong Bottlenose dolphins. All guests were happy and satisfied, just how we like it at most.
