This morning on board the Ribeira Brava our guests experienced a wet and wavy ocean. Even if we didn’t find marine mammals, I hope the guests will remember this spectacular rainbow. Such a rainbow is not a simply technical-optical phenomenon but a colorful marvel of nature. A rainbow appears as semi-circular arch in a water curtain, which is illuminated by the sun. The little rain drops break the sunlight by entering and emerging and reflecting the light on the backside of the drop. These pretty technical proceedings performs magic in the sky.
