Due weather condition we were only able to go out with on the ocean with Stenella in the morning. The ocean was still somewhat flat but the wind swept across the water surface. In contrast to the weather both Tropical whales we met were peacefully milling around and we had a few very nice contacts. This type of behavior is common in Baleen whales, which is an elaborated filtration system in their mouth that serves to filter prey from large volumes of seawater. I hope they were lucky today.
