This morning, our guests spotted Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis) and a Sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus). What a huge difference in size! Yet these different species have a few things in common! They both have just one blowhole. They use sonar to search for food. They both have teeth. Why is that? Both Sperm whales and Atlantic spotted dolphins belong to the toothed whales!
