There were all sorts of different things to see at sea today. There was even a Blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) in our blue office. Blainville’s beaked whales (Mesoplodon densirostris), mothers with their calves were out and about. And Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus) were a little reserved in the morning, but by the evening they were literally dancing around the Stenella. Was it a welcome dance for our Shorties, the holiday spotters on board?
