With Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorynchus), Risso’s dolphins (Grampus griseus), Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and Blainville’s beaked whales (Mesoplodon densirostris), our spotter found us a range of diverse species today. Not only the species were interesting today but also the conditions. Throughout the day, we were dealing with Easterly wind as well as North wind with changing directions. This led to passengers and crew getting soaked by the spray. As it was a hot day, everyone dried fast. However, by the end of the day, everyone was covered in a complimentary cover of Atlantic salt.
