Today’s species included surfing Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and reptilian-like Rough-toothed dolphins (Steno bredanensis). Rough-toothed dolphins are fascinating to observe. These animals are well-known for swimming in formation: shoulder to shoulder and surfacing at the same time. Next to this behaviour, we also saw them bow-riding, surfing, spy-hopping and leaping. We even spotted a small calf!
