Delphinus delphis
Endlich mal wieder Pilotwale, oder auch Grindwale genannt. Am Nachmittag sahen wir von der Ribeira Brava aus die Pilotwale, die Stenella sah außerdem noch Streifendelfine. Morgens fuhr nur die Ribeira Brava raus, bei spiegelglattem Meer gab es eine Menge gemeiner Delfine (Copyright Oliver Hoppe).

Finally pilot whales, which we saw in the afternoon from the Ribeira Brava boat, the Stenella as well spotted striped dolphins. In the morning only the Ribeira Brava had a trip, with totally flat sea, we’ve been with a big pod of common dolphins (copyright Oliver Hoppe).

Finalmente vimos novamente bocas de panela, ou baleias piloto. Isto fui nas viagens da tarde, onde tanto o Stenella como o Ribeira Brava observaram baleias piloto, o Stenella tambem vi golfinhos riscados. De manha só o Ribeira saío e com o mar liso viram bastantes golfinhos comuns (copyright Oliver Hoppe).
