So they are, little bounncy balls full of zest for life, our Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis)! When these small, dynamic bodies fly through the air, enthusiasm comes up. Such vitality, such joy, even for the observers of course! Today the guests of both boats could enjoy this in detail! While jumping the intelligent marine mammals use, the fact that air resistance is less than water resistance, to move quickly from A to B in an elegant way.
The Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), which we saw at the beginning and at the end, were rather comfortable travelling.
It was a very nice day on the sea! 🙂
