While waiting for a weather opening to go out with STENELLA we prepared ourselves for some rain during the trip by putting on water tight clothes. A perfect opportunity to visit and appreciate our shop from inside. During the years, bits and pieces of information, clothes, souvenirs, books and petitions have been added to our “headquarters” were everyone can learn more about the marine life and take a little bit of Lobosonda “back home”.
After waiting for the rain to pass in the morning, we then speeded up towards the sighting area, where approximately in the same area we had the incredible luck of having Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), Short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhyncus) and possible a juvenil Northern Fin whale (Balaenoptera physalus), all mixed together wich made the trip definitely worth it…..
