Stenella frontalis

Meine erste Fahrt nach dem Aufenthalt im Schnee und in der Kälte Deutschlands. Wir fuhren raus mit unserem Schnellboot, der STENELLA, und warteten auf das Auftauchen einiger Schnabelwale, als diese verspielten Fleckendelfine zu uns kamen. Auf dem Rückweg machten wir noch einen Stopp vor Jardim do Mar um diese besonderen Surfwellen zu sehen und erleben.

My first trip after the holidays in the snowy cold Germany. With our rib STENELLA we were waiting for some Blainville beaked whales to come up again, when these funny atlantic spotted dolphins appeared and played with us. On the way back to the Calheta harbour we stoped to see and feel the nice surf waves in front of Jardim do Mar.

A minha primeira viagem depois das férias na neve d’Almanha. Com o nosso bote STENELLA estavamos a espera que um grupo de baleias de bico voltasse a superfície, quando apareceram estes golfinhos pintados. Estavam em boa disposição, como as fotos comprovam. No regresso para o porto da Calheta fizemos paragem no Jardim do Mar para ver e sentir estas famosas ondas do surfe.
