Today we only had one trip for the day. It was a beautiful trip with our traditional fishing vessel Ribeira Brava. The weather was pleasant, the ocean calm and some beautiful Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) were around. Today they were curiously swimming around our vessel, looking at us and enjoying the time together. These species is highly intelligent. They find ways to survive in so different environments from shallow lagoons, coral reefs, the open ocean or a temperate rocky shore.
During this trip Ribeira Brava returned also back to her origins as at one point we had to go fishing. Not for a fish. Instead one of our beautiful straw hats decided to go for a swim so we had to use the original net from our vessel to fish it back out. This net stills comes from when Ribeira Brava headed out to catch fish in her past.
